[Travel Saturdays] Bath

My last weekend in London, Seda and I went to Bath in Somerset, which is about an hour and a half train ride outside of London. I had wanted to go to Bath for the entire time I was in London, but never got around to it. I was so happy that Seda was as inclined as I was to see the city immortalized by Jane Austen. And it was amazing. We started off the day by walking through the Parade Gardens and feeding the ducks. It began raining, so we went to Sally Lunn's for lunch. Sally Lunn was the baker who made Bath Buns famous. They are essentially large, fluffy rolls. I had mine as a welsh rarebit and Seda had the salmon pate. We went to the Roman Baths, Bath Abbey, had tea on the river and then took photos at the Royal Crescent before heading to the WestGate, a local pub, for fruity beer and traditional English fare with a twist. A beautiful day :-)
